Hello Layout

It appears I forgot to blog about this layout. I made it for Scraplift Sunday at Paper Issues a few weeks ago. We lifted Mary Ann Jenkins. Here is mine:
I began by selecting this piece of paper from a pile on my desk. I love the woodgrain pattern and only bought this piece so I don't have the rest of the collection. I loved the other side and realized if I cut the top off and flip it, and then add the manufacturers strip, I have a layout with one piece of paper! I used a card from my Paper Issues swag bag to give some pops of red. All the other embellishments were from a swag bag and the title is Dear Lizzy.
Supplies
Shimelle Go Now Go
Dear Lizzy Thickers
Fancy Pants Me-ology Stickers
My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots
Bella Blvd Fall sticker

Another Dream Layout

I was inspired by the challenge at Creative Embellishments this month. I used the picture to help me choose a cut file and the Moonstruck collection works great with the dream theme. This is my second dream layout in a row!
Here is the inspiration picture. Numbers also had to be used.

I used the negative cuts to fill some of the spaces with pink. I used gesso on the Creative Embellishments chipboard and then Heidi Swapp Colorshine.

Pink Paislee Moonstruck

Creative Embellishments title

Dreamy Layout

Hi everyone! I wanted to try something a little different so I made this layout to go with the Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues.

Here is the list. I used pink, grey, cardstock, layers and a tag.

I knew I wouldn't use the heart paper in the Moonstruck as is, so the Martha Stewart heart punch was the perfect size to quickly cut out the hearts. Then I used a 1" circle punch on scrap paper and glued the hearts to it in a flower shape. I added a button in the middle of each flower. Now I could move the flowers around the page and decided on a wreath shape. I had a few extra hearts leftover so I made a smaller circle in the middle. The dreamy title fit nicely at the bottom so I pulled this picture of my daughter sleeping on the couch. She was half off the couch and her arm was twisted really weird. I used a journal card to explain the strange picture and added some feathers to go with the theme.

Supplies
Pink Paislee: Moonstruck
White buttons
Fine tip Sharpie pen
Martha Stewart heart punch
1" circle punch
White cardstock
Gold embroidery thread

Beautiful Besties

Child free weekend means scrappy time! I got another layout done this time using the sketch at Stuck?! Sketches and some texture paste and stamping to join the challenge at Clique Kits. Here is the layout:
Here is the sketch:
I used texture paste and a stencil to create the horizontal and vertical lines (zoom in - I swear it is there!). I debated a long time if I should add some color or paper or stitching but in the end decided to keep it simple and subtle which is not my usual style! I stamped grey lines around the cluster to make it pop a little. The rest is layering die cuts.

Supplies
Pink Paislee - Moonstruck
Doily - Dollarama
Black fine tip Sharpie pen
Ranger Texture Paste
Stampin' Up Going Grey ink
Tim Holtz Stamper's Anonymous stamp

Let's Eat Layout

Found some free time today so I chose to try-out a sketch from Creative Scrappers. Kristine always makes such interesting sketches. Here is what I made:

Here is the sketch:

I just love Carta Bella Christmas Delivery and was determined to make it work with this sketch. After moving papers around for way too long I realized flipping the sketch would work best. I wanted to use the snowflake paper because it matches the tablecloth in the photos. I snagged a title from the Silhouette Store and I think it came together pretty well.

Supplies
Carta Bella Christmas Delivery
Dollarama snowflakes
White and black cardstock
Silhouette Store title
Black fine tip Sharpie pen

So Cool Layout

I'm playing along with the Sketchy Saturday challenge at Paper Issues. I'm so glad I waited for the perfect collection to scrap this photo. My daughter's daycare sent me the pic. It shows off her super cute owl snowsuit and her kooky personality with her shades in winter.
Here is the sketch:

I used the super awesome Crate Paper Snow & Cocoa collection. I also grabbed some sequins and wood star from a Paper Issues swag bag.

Merry Christmas Baby Layout

My brother and sister-in-law sent these fabulous Christmas cards this year so I just had to scrap it. Also helps that the plaid matches the Carta Bella Christmas Delivery collection perfectly. I'm so jealous that they are such skilled photographers and designers so for now I'll just mooch their photos for my scrapbook!
There are still a few days left to play along in the Paper Issues Facebook group with the mood board challenge. Here is the board (with the perfect plaid again):

The title is cut from a font from the Silhouette Store called Clandestine Existence.
